Skycharge at Aerial Cities 2026: Ground Infrastructure in Scalable Drone Operations
Skycharge will participate in Aerial Cities 2026, the invitation-only aviation and air mobility event taking place in Fuerteventura on 4–5 November.
Founder and CEO Andrea Puiatti will join the panel “Operational Readiness on the Ground: Launch Sites, Vertiports, Connectivity and Contingency Planning”, contributing Skycharge’s perspective on the infrastructure needed to support automated and autonomous drone operations.
As drone programs move beyond pilot projects, the challenge extends beyond flight itself. Charging, docking, protection and readiness for the next mission become critical part of reliable and repeatable BVLOS operations.
Skycharge develops interoperable charging and docking infrastructure, including automated hangars, to help manufacturers and operators reduce routine on-site intervention and support remote deployments across different drone platforms.
At Aerial Cities, the discussion will focus on how these capabilities support scalable beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) programmes across commercial and defence applications.
