Skycharge Receives Successful Tax Incentive of €1.6M for Research and Development Efforts

We are delighted to announce that Skycharge has been awarded a significant tax incentive of €1.6 million for its ongoing R&D activities.

This achievement highlights the company's commitment to technological advancements and underscores its position as a pioneer in the commercial BVLOS drone charging industry.

Under the tax incentive program introduced by the German government in 2020, companies engaging in R&D can receive an annual research allowance of up to €1,000,000. Skycharge leveraged this program by utilizing its own dedicated research staff, enabling the company to benefit from the incentive scheme fully.

The €1.6 million tax incentive received by Skycharge will be instrumental in fueling its ongoing R&D initiatives, facilitating the development of current and new technologies and solutions in the field of autonomous BVLOS drone charging. With a strong focus on innovation, Skycharge aims to redefine the future of BVLOS drone charging and contribute to a greener and more sustainable world.

"Receiving this tax incentive is a significant milestone for Skycharge. It not only affirms our commitment to R&D but also provides us with the necessary resources to drive innovation in the field of BVLOS drone charging and beyond," said Andrea Puiatti, CEO at Skycharge. "We are grateful for the support of the German government and excited about the opportunities this incentive will create for us."
